Harold Newton Nelson, 79, of Ringgold, Georgia, went home, Sunday, November 30, 2025. He was a member of Pathway Baptist Church. He loved Georgia Football and race cars. He enjoyed going to the races. He was predeceased by his parents Isaac Newton Nelson & Margaret Holcomb Nelson; son, Timothy Tyrone Nelson; sister, Ann Hayes. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Evelyn Kilgore Nelson; sons, Shane (Kristy) Nelson, Chance Nelson; daughter, Corenda Nelson (Ralph) Clark; brothers, Donald Nelson, Frank Nelson; grandchildren, Tavian Clark, Isaac Clark, Zander Clark, Lane Nelson, Luke Nelson; many nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
