Herman Edwin "Tim" Raines, 71, of LaFayette, GA, took the hand of Jesus, Monday, February 14, 2022. He was loved by his family & friends. He was passionate about fishing, woodworking & his beloved cat, Tummy. Tim was a proud Vietnam veteran of the United States Army.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd & Louise Raines.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Raines; daughters, Beth (Robert) Hardy, Katie (Jordan) Moorehead; sister, Alice (Steve) Critchfield; niece, Renee (Frankie) Cornelius.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at LaFayette Church of God, 1002 South Main St, LaFayette, GA. Pastor Josh Edwards & Pastor Dwight Henderson will conduct a memorial service at 3 p.m. in the church.
