Jackie Frank Griggs, lovingly known as "Coach", 76, of Ooltewah, went to sleep in the Lord, Thursday, March11, 2021. He was a Seventh-Day Adventist all of his life & always shared the Lord in his own way. Jack made the world a kinder, brighter & better place.

He loved all sports, especially the Notre Dame fighting Irish.. He was a mentor and friend to all of the children he coached. He was one of the greatest contributors to the beach volleyball scene at Silver Beach in St. Joseph, MI. Jack was the original founder of the Phi Slamma Jamma. Naturally gifted in Sales Jack spent his career in various roles selling Industrial Equipment in Michigan and Indiana.

He was predeceased by his parents& three siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Donna Griggs; daughter, Dr. Heidi (Wally Herzog) Griggs; son, Steven (Gladys) Griggs; grandchildren, Camden Griggs, Ella Griggs, Tanner Griggs; brothers, E.W. (Sally) Griggs, Clifford P. Griggs.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
