James David (Pete) Burnette, Sr., 70, of Rossville, passed away Monday, October 2.

He was predeceased by his dear wife, Mona Faye; parents, Elmer E. & Frances V. Burnette; nieces, Sarah F. & Destiny Hilliard; brothers, Charles Lee Burnette, Donald Ray Burnette, Stephen Burnette.

Left to cherish his memories are sons, James David (Sarah) Burnette, Jr., Timothy Charles Burnette; daughter, Christy Kay Steele; brother, Rickey Burnette; sister, Darlene Burnette (Tommy) McLemore & many grandchildren & his favorite nephew, Jamie Millholland. Special family includes, James & Linda Smith and Children.

There will be no visitation or services. The family would like to thank Linda Williams.
