James "Stinker" Goins, 47, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019. He was a lifelong resident Ooltewah, TN. He worked for Hanks Carpet in Tunnel Hill, GA for more than 20 years. Stinker had many passions, but the ones that stand out to his family are his love for Nascar (#3), his roosters and his beloved grandbabies.

He was predeceased by his half-sister, Dorothy Gifford.

Stinker is survived by his mother, Norma Goins; father, James Goins; his two children, Bubba (Fianc Brooke Miller) Goins, Brittany (husband Zac) DeOcampo; grandchildren, Braxton Goins, Lily DeOcampo and his former wife, Melissa Goins.

The family will welcome friends on May 24, 2019 from 5-7pm and Saturday from noon-2pm at Old Rugged Cross Baptist Church, 8916 Bill Reed Road, Ooltewah, TN 37363. Pastor Ricky Kesley will conduct the funeral in the church at 2pm on Saturday.

Stinker will be laid to rest in Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN.
