James Daily Moore

James Daily "Dale" Moore, 74, of Chickamauga, Georgia went peacefully to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, August 24th at his home.

Dale was a wonderful provider and fierce protector of his family. He loved helping others in any way possible, sharing his many talents with anyone in need. Dale was devoted to his career and never stopped learning and growing in his field as a master mechanic and maintenance planner. He worked at Astec Industries, Brock Candy Company,

Nabisco/Planters, Kraft, Wrigley, Mars, WNA, and Grace Chemical where he retired in 2020. After retirement he co-founded Red Wolf Armory with his son.

Dale was a long-time member of Cross Connection Church in Chickamauga where he served as a Royal Ranger leader, Sunday school teacher, media specialist, and board treasurer over a 20-year span. He enjoyed hiking, exploring and photographing God's creation, and he treasured time spent with family.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, James Adric Moore and Barbara Stone Moore of Bryant, AL. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Toni D'Andrea Moore of Chickamauga, GA; two children, Tiffany (Chris) Marlowe of LaFayette, GA, and Benjamin Moore of

Chickamauga, GA; three grandchildren, Raegan and Connor Marlowe, and Jebediah Moore; bonus daughter, Dana (Rodney) Hall of Ringgold, GA, along with her children, Tyler and Logan Cheatwood, and Reegan Hall; three brothers, Ronnie (Linda) Moore of Trenton, GA,

Dana (Jo Ann) Moore of Pisgah, AL, Greg (Tammy) Moore of Pisgah, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, August 30th at Cross Connection Assembly of God in Chickamauga, GA, with Pastor Joey Kelly officiating. The interment will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 2nd at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
