Jeffery Kirk Rhoda, 57, of Decatur, TN passed away surrounded by loving family on March 3, 2017.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cindy, daughter Brittney Goode of Clarksville and son Jeffrey Rhoda of

Chattanooga, TN, his mother, Nancy Rhoda and his brothers Brian, David and Kenneth Rhoda all of Rochester NY as well as nieces, nephew and loving extended family.

Jeff was a wonderful and comical Papa to five beautiful grandchildren - Aggie & Oliver Goode, Wren Pendleton and Cadence & Laney Rhoda.

After spending 12 years in the US Navy Submarine Service Jeff dedicated his life to Jehovah God in 1989 after visiting many overseas countries. He was impressed with the worldwide love and unity among Jehovah's Witnesses as he learned the precious truths he found in Gods Word, the Bible. Jeff had a strong hope in the Bibles promise of an upcoming peaceful earth one day with no more sickness, death or sorrow. (Rev. 21:3,4) (Psalm 37:9-11, 29)

Jeff worked very hard to care for his family. He spent the last 15 years tirelessly helping his wife Cindy by being the support and backbone of Pooches On The Move Pet Rescue in the Chattanooga area helping over 10,000 rescue dogs find and get to their new homes in New England and northern states.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Walton Rhoda of Rochester NY.

Visitation will be held from 2:30-4:00 pm on Saturday, March 10th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. 110 Decatur Circle, Decatur TN followed by a memorial talk at 4pm.
