Jena Merle DeFriese, 93, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim DeFriese, mother, Prudie Burris Culp, and brother, Jim Holliday.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna, and cousins Karen Huff and Tracy Webb of Madisonville, Tennessee.

She was born in 1926 in Madisonville, Tennessee. She graduated from Central High School and enjoyed attending their reunions. She was employed in sales and liked gardening and sewing. She was a member of Brainerd Presbyterian Church. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery on October 22 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please
