John Cole Ames, III, 73, of Signal Mountain, went home to rest in the hands of God, Thursday, May 16. He loved his family, his kitties, tools and trinkets. John was the best turkey stuffing maker and the worlds worst charades player.

He is predeceased by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; children, Lindsey (Alan), & Matthew (Tina).
