John Gray Bynum, 32, of South Pittsburg, Tenn., formerly of Panama City, Fla. and Alexandria, Va. died unexpectedly Thursday, April 30 in Chattanooga, Tenn.

He was born October 31, 1982 in Alexandria, Va. to John H. Bynum and A. Kelly Watts. He moved to Panama City in early 2000. He married Michelle Bynum May 26, 2009 in Panama City. John had a heart of gold and touched everyone he met. He enjoyed spending his free time with family and friends. He loved being on the water boating or a day at the beach. He worked at Gentry Chevrolet in Kimball, Tenn. and Gaddie Marine Construction in Panama City, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Bynum; daughter, Taeden Bynum; step-sons, Padre and Gabriel; grand-father, John F. Bunum; grand-mother, Elizabeth F. Hooe; mother and step-father, Kelly and Robert G. Watts; father, John Bynum; cousins, nieces, nephews,aunts, uncles and his dog Jack.

The Rev. Robert Denmark will conduct the memorial service Thursday, May 7 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of First Baptist Church, 640 Grace Avenue, Panama City, FL 32401.
