Obituary
Johnnie Mizell, 96, of Chickamauga, GA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 13, 2020.
He was a member of Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church in Rossville, GA.
He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Velma Mizell; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his son, Burl (Patti) Mizell; daughters, Denise (Phil) Shellabarger, Darla (Ronnie) Byrd; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Delies Mizell; sister, Peggy Presswood.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 17, from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church. Brother Phil Shellabarger will conduct the service in the church at 1p.m. Interment will follow in TN-GA Memorial Park. COVID19 social distancing and mask protocols will be followed.
