Johnny 'Buddy' Clark Higdon of South Pittsburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Our world has lost a great man, partner, step father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend.
Buddy was a lifelong resident of South Pittsburg. Big Hig was a diehard Tennessee Volunteer and Pirate football fan. Many weekends he could be found boating up and down the Tennessee River. He was a long term employee of Walker Oil. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Buddy was preceded in death by his step-son Adam Arnold, brother David Higdon and sister Linda Anderson, parents Carl Higdon Jr. and Bonnie Brown Higdon. He leaves behind his loving partner Penny Arnold; brother Dale (Brenda) Higdon; sisters Judy Miles & Jean Powell; step daughter Sequita (Chris) Hardy; brother in-law James (Denise) Hogwood, Allen Blevins; grandchildren Jackson Hardy, Matthew Arnold, Olivia Hardy and Madison Arnold; Nephews Levi Hogwood, Dusty Norman, Mike Higdon, Casey & April Norman; Nieces Pam Higdon, Crystal Hansard, Jereisha (Dakota) Norman, Angel (Andres) Fraire and several other great nieces and nephews; special friends Mark and Cindy Payne, Billy Davis, Dustin Sneed, Mitchell Ladd and Owners and Employees of Walker Oil.
Memorial service will be Saturday July 23 from 3:00 till 6:00 CST at the Richard City Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1706 Marion Ave., South Pittsburg, TN. Pastor Bruce Potter, officiating.
