Johnny Ray Thomas, 76, of Ringgold, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015.

He was predeceased by his parents, Oscar B. & Lora D. Thomas; brothers, Charles C. Thomas & Boyd O. Thomas.

He worked for Thermo-King of Chattanooga & Cooling Parts Warehouse and was a Veteran of the United States Army from 1964-1968 and a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Jacocks Thomas; children, Lisa Thomas (Chuck) Prescott & George Douglas (Jennifer) Thomas; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Geneva Ault; several nieces, nephews and extended family Sherry Dorsey & Justin Beele.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 14 from 4-8pm and Friday, 10 10:30 a.m. in New Heights Baptist Church, 158 Ooltewah-Ringgold Road, Ringgold, GA 30736. Brother Ed Parsons will conduct the service at 10:30 a.m.in the church on Friday.

Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
