It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Joyce Johnson's passing. She left us peacefully on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, surrounded by family. Joyce faced a tough but short battle with cancer, and she did so with incredible strength. For most of her life, Joyce resided in the North Georgia and East Ridge, Tennessee areas. She leaves behind a circle of friends and family who will miss her dearly. Joyce is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Crittenden of East Ridge, Tennessee, and Jamie (Nathan) Carpenter of Ooltewah, Tennessee. Her two grandsons, Logan (Shelby) Potter and Devin Potter, and her sweet great-granddaughter, Millie Potter. She's also survived by two loving brothers, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. They all took such great care of her, and she loved them all so much. She will be missed. The family will plan an intimate celebration of life soon.
