Marion Nentwig, 88, Signal Mountain, TN, took the hand of Jesus on Monday, January 30. She graduated from Swarthmore College with a master's degree in English Literature. She was active in many local organizations, including Church Women United, the local NAACP and very engaged in the Democratic Party. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother.

Marion was predeceased by her parents; husband, Klaus Peter Nentwig; daughter, Susanne Adelheid 'Heidi' Nentwig McClure. .

Survivors include her son, Michael (Dedra) Nentwig; grandsons, Andrew(Jessye) Nentwig & Ryan (Katie) Kennedy; great-granddaughter, Elena Kennedy; brothers, Peter & Donald Harkness, several nephews & a niece.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 12 at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, on Signal Mountain; in the Parrish Hall at 2pm. Reverend Derrick Hill will conduct a memorial service at the church in the chapel at 3pm.
