Larry Eugene Woods, 58, a long time resident of Chattanooga, passed in his home March 13, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 4, 1955, predeceased by his father, Oscar Franklin Woods and brother, Clyde Franklin Woods. He survived by his wife, Brenda Brooks Woods; mother, Betty Raby Shelby; children, Franklin and Samantha Woods, Sarah and Thomas Boone, Anthony and Donna Woods, Billy and Anita Woods and Larry and Contessa Woods; grandchildren, David, Andrew Tiffany, Isaac, Brianna, Austin, Justin, Desiree, Jacob, Contessa, Michaela and Ashlan Woods; brother, Perry and Kathy Shelby, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be in Apison Revival Church of God, Friday 4-9 p.m. and Saturday 11-3 p.m. The Rev. Robert Jenkins will conduct the service Saturday at 3 p.m. in the church.
