April 5, 1938 – August 3, 2015
Leeman Eugene Wilson Sr., 77, was born April 5, 1938 to Leeman Wilson and Arbell Smith of Dayton, TN. Gene was the oldest of twelve children.
Gene passed away August 3, 2015 unexpectedly at his home in Ringgold, Georgia. For the last three years he faithfully took care of his wife, Janeane Wilson, of fifty-five years until her death June 30, 2015.

Gene enjoyed driving a semi-truck for fifteen years, building houses with his sons; he loved to fish, enjoyed good food and church potlucks.
His children remember their younger years playing and laughing together with him.
He thought his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the best and he was very proud of each one.
He has been a member of the McDonald Road Seventh -day Adventist Church since the early 1990s.
Gene is survived by his five children, Rose Schultz, Polly (Terry) Bass, Lee (Leilani) Wilson, Jeff (Tammy) Wilson, and Elizabeth Wilson; six grandchildren, Christy Mobley, Taylor Wilson, Austin Bass, Autumn Wilson, Jadyn Germain, and Mattie Germain; four great-grandchildren, Micah Mobley, Jade Mobley, Tristan Wilson and Mahkenly Wilson.
