Leon "Phillip" Johnson, 91 of Harrison, TN departed from this walk of life, to be with his Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on October 23, 2017.

Phillip was of the Baptist Faith. He served his country in World War II with the United States Navy, as a tail gunner.

Mr. Johnson was a loving and kind husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He was predeceased by his wife and sister.

Those left to cherish his memory are Phyllis Hickman, daughter, son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Melanie Johnson; grandson & daughter-in-law, Adam and Meaghan Hickman; great-granddaughters, Ella & Charleigh Hickman; granddaughter, Lindsi Hickman; great-grandson, Garhett; granddaughter, Ashley Grisso, husband Elijah and great-grandson, Huck Grisso.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26 from 5 to 8pm and Friday from 10am to 11. The service will begin at 11am in Greenwood Baptist Church. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
