Lester Gray, 79, of Ooltewah TN., passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, in a local Nursing Facility. Lester enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He and his wife of 38 years, Geree Gray who passed away in November 2016 traveled to many churches sharing the gospel through music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura (Bush)and George Gray and brothers, Frank, George, Johnny, Jimmy and Virgil Gray. And sisters, Nettie Bettis, Betty Lawson, Margaret Sledge and Florence Gray as well as his wife of 38 years, Geree Gray. Survivors include several nieces and nephew as wells as numerous step grandchildren that he shared with Geree Gray. A special thank you to Kevin West (step-grandson) for his love and contribution. A service will be held at The Freedom Church of God located at 9844 Highway 58, Ooltewah, TN. 37363 on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Family and friends will gather at 1:00 p.m. and the service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Ooltewah Cemetery.
