Linda N. Walker, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at a local nursing home. She was born August 30, 1933, in Chattanooga, TN, to Phoshion W. Nash and Rosie Downey Nash. She is survived by her daughter, Annette (Kenneth) Hix; granddaughter, Frances (Willie) Smith; grandsons, Frank and Lebron Hix; great-granddaughter, Shelby Hix and great-great granddaughter, Addison. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Laura Ellen Hix. If roses grow in heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my Mother's arms And tell her they're from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, And when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek And hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, But there's an ache within my heart That will never go away. For those that loved you, we will remember you forever. For those that shunned you, may they one day know their loss.
