Linda Joyce Lee Woody, 65, of Benton, went to be reunited with her beloved husband Michael Lee Woody in heaven on August 5 2014. She was predeceased by her daughter Christine Woody- Kersey, parents, Thomas Anderson Lee, and Willadeane Fugate Lee, and brother Tommy Lee. Linda was born in Chattanooga, but spent her life as a successful entrepreneur, and rearing her children in Benton, with her husband Michael Lee Woody. Survivors include her beloved son Charles Michael Woody of Benton; grandchildren, Chelsie Ledford, Ashley Kersey, Michael "Doodle" Woody, and Meegie Woody of Benton; sisters Ann Burch of Cleveland, and Brenda Roach of Birchwood; nieces and nephews, Marty Roach, and Rachel Wilson of Birchwood, Jamie Lofgren, and Jason Burch of Cleveland; a great niece; great-granddaughter, Branna Hope Starkey and three great nephew's. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 - 2 in Living Waters PCoG. the service will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the church. Interment will be in Old McDonald Cemetery, Ooltewah.
