Lorena Ivens Morris, 77, of Rossville, GA passed peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2016.

Lorena was a 1956 graduate of Rossville High School. She was actively involved in Local, County and District PTA. At one time she managed the Gift Shop of Hutchison Medical Center.

Lorena was predeceased by her parents, Sanford & Esther Ivens and son, Kelvin Lane Morris.

She leaves behind her loving and dedicated husband of 63 years, Homer Morris. She is also survived by a daughter, Leslie Bruce; sons, Wendell & Barry Morris; grandchildren, Ricky Ogles, Kyndel Morris, Chandler Morris, Cody Morris-Williams; great-grandson, Louie Stumpff; sister, Barbara Ivens-Gass; daughter-in-law, Sallye Morris; life-long high school friends "The Girls", Shirley Holland, Ann Davis, Shirley Woods, Trilla Roberson, Carolyn Cross and Pat Leigh.

The family will receive friends from 10a.m. 1 p.m. in Fairview United Methodist Church in Rossville, GA on Saturday, January 16 with the memorial service at 1p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kelvin Lane Morris Memorial Scholarship Fund at Clemson University, Student Financial Aid Office, 601 Sikes Hall, Box 345123, Clemson, SC 29643.
