Linnie Louise OShields Hammill Kittle, born on September 18, 1927, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, while at her earthly home in East Ridge, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Willie (Wynn) OShields; her brother, JT OShields; her sisters, Nell Tucker and Francis Hardeman; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Johnson Kittle; and her granddaughter, Courtney Elizabeth Davis.

She is survived by all eight of her children and their spouses: Terry Hammill of Marietta, GA; Midge (Tom) Taormina of VC Highland, NV; Lottie (Matthew) Beaupre, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Kenneth (Linda) Hammill of East Ridge, TN; Linda (Mike) Mahaffey, Chattanooga, TN; James Kittle Jr., Rockwell, NC; David (Linda) Kittle, Chattanooga, TN; Steve Kittle, Chattanooga, TN; her 16 grandchildren: Terry Hammill, Jr, Kelly Hammill Grace, Hannah Hammill, William McCormick, Ronnie Jenkins, Kathy Hammill, Bryan Hammill, Robbie Hammill, Michael Mahaffey, Jr., Miana Mahaffey Shoemaker, Zachary Kittle, Joshua Kittle, Glinda Kittle Hardy, Cindy Kittle Davis, Rebecca Kittle, Steven Justin Kittle; and her 13 great-grandchildren.

She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and loved her family and friends. She had so many hobbies that its hard to say which one she loved best.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at the East Ridge Community Center on April 17, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make a donation to your favorite charity in her honor.
