Obituary

Marian Jane (Potts) Lear passed away one month to the day, short of her 90th birthday. She is now reunited with her husband Ben Lear to whom she was married for 35 years, and with her beloved sister Evelyn Perry, brother Bill Perry, parents Earl C. And Maybelle Fisher Potts.

Marian was born on February 12, 1924 in Pittsburg PA. Her father worked as a super market distributer, with his wife and two girls, by his side. She migrated south to Miami Shores Florida post her high school graduation with them. There she followed her heart, and love of travel to work for a time with Eastern Airlines. Marian then met and married Ben Lear while working as a secretary for Miami Shores, Presbyterian church. Her family relocated several times, coming to reside on Lookout Mnt TN/GA. She eventually moved to Flintstone when she found work with Miller Brothers downtown. After retiring, Marian found a place to live out her days under the care of the loving staff at Mary and Martha's Personal Care in Rossville, GA. Marian loved, and attended to her passions of faith and family, making many friends, young and old, wherever she went. She loved well, was well loved, and will be missed by many. Her peace now is from everlasting to everlasting. Bye mama.
