Marlene Manning Spalding, 88, of Signal Mountain, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019. She was born February 16, 1931 in Detroit Michigan to the late David and Daisy Manning. She completed both her BS and MEd from Peabody College.

Mrs. Spalding was preceded in death by her half-brother, Larry Smith, and survived by her half-sister, Myra Whitaker; sons, Robert (Gina) Spalding, Jr. DPM, Stephen (Denise) Spalding, MD; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will have a private service for Mrs. Spalding.
