Medlee Gilbride, 55, of Panama City, FL and Chattanooga, our mom & best friend is no longer in pain. On March 7, 2019 the Lord lifted her up and took her home.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Gilbride; sister, Mary DeAnne Kennedy; brothers, Erik, Raymond and Jack Gilbride.

Survivors include her children, Jessica Gilbride, Matthew Gilbride; grandchildren, Rylan and Serena Gilbride; father Charles Gilbride; grandkitties, Fluffa, Sally and many nieces and nephews.

She fulfilled a lifelong dream the last three years of her time on earth, when she moved to the beach, it was the only place she felt completely at peace. Medlee was a CNA for over 35 years. She loved her "old people." She prided herself on her work, which was well deserved.

She was a single parent for 37 years. She was our rock & will be dearly missed! Anyone who knew her knows she has not stopped telling jokes since He took her home. Stage fright was the only thing keeping her from being a comedian. Now shes got the largest stage ever & the confidence of a lion. I cannot wait to hold you again.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.

A private memorial service will be held a later date.
