Michael Eugene 'Mike' Hillis, age 74, of Rossville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 7, 2023. He was a member of Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church in Rossville, GA. Mike was a dedicated employee and loved working with the seniors at Rossville Senior Center. Mike was a very generous and helpful person. He loved his wife of 41 years, Teresa, children and grandchildren. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Howard & Martha Renfro Hillis. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Hillis; sons, Wendell (Jackie) Hillis and Jon (Megan) Hillis; grandchildren, Travis, Daylan, Dylan, Emma, Kaylee and Nancy, great-grandchildren, Dustin and Sam; sister, Mary Hillis. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church from 10a.m. to 12:30p.m. Pastor George Pinion will conduct the funeral in the church on Monday at 12:30p.m. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2p.m.
