Miguel M. Gonzales, born May 28, 1956, passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 69. He was a devoted husband, father, engineer, and servant of God, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and service. Miguel was a dedicated engineer for the Corps of Engineers, contributing his expertise and skills to numerous projects over the years. At the age of 18, Miguel was saved and committed his life to sharing God's love and His word, a mission that remained central to his life. Upon his retirement, Miguel and his beloved wife of 33 years, Carrie Gonzales, moved to Chattanooga to continue serving God and their community. Miguel is preceded in death by his parents, Marina and Santiago Gonzales, and his parents- in-law, Robert and Judy Pearsall. He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie, and their children: Miranda (David) Boothe, Cassie (Zach) Dupont, and James Gonzales, along with cherished family and friends. Miguel's faith-filled life was a beacon of hope and encouragement to all who knew him. A Celebration of Life service will be held on July 5th at the Silverdale Student Ministries Building in Chattanooga, TN. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the celebration service at 11:00 a.m. Miguel's unwavering devotion to God, his family, and his work will be remembered for generations. His life is a testament to the power of faith and the enduring impact of a life lived in service to others. May he rest in peace and find eternal joy in the presence of the Lord.
