Millard "Lamar" Hillyer, 71, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 5, 2019. He loved his family, friends and golf buddies.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Hillyer; son, Ben (Linda) Hillyer; daughter, Julie Hillyer Logan; sister, Jo Ann (Jesse) Potter; four grandchildren, & three great-grandchildren, mother-in-law, Catherine Key.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. 1 p.m. at Burks United Methodist Church, 6433 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343. The Reverend Beth Sullivan will conduct the memorial service at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
