Millard H. Hooper, Sr., 91, of Harrison, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ewing and Naomi Hooper; seven brothers, one sister, one son and one granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hooper; sons, Millard (Sharon) Hooper, Jr. and Arnold (Debbie) Hooper; daughter, Ann (John) Cunningham; brother, Cordell (Carol) Hooper; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29 from 10a.m. to noon at Bayside Baptist Church. The Reverends Eric Stitts and Grady Cooper will conduct the funeral at noon in the church. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1:30p.m. The deacons of Bayside Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
