Myrna was the daughter of Dr. George and Charlotte Nelson.

She was a pianist and a bookkeeper. Most recently she was the treasurer of the non-profit Professional and Business Association. She was a member of the Collegedale SDA Church.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John L. Odom; her son, George Robert Odom; daughter-in-law, Theresa Odom; granddaughters, Kacey Shawler, Paige Turner, Kelley Sink, and Stephanie Haga.

Visitation will be at Collegedale SDA church beginning at 3 pm followed by a memorial service at 4 pm on January 5, 2023.

In lieu of flowers gifts may be made the Southern Adventist University Odom Endowment.
