Neil "Spanky" Ambrose DeFriese Jr., 67, of Harrison, took the hand of Jesus, Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He was a lifelong commercial fisherman and the owner of Legacy Caviar.

He was predeceased by his father, Neil DeFriese Sr.; sister, Ono Lee Boyd; daughter, Pamela Kaye Riebe.

Survivors include his, wife of 29 years, Janice DeFriese; daughter, Kimberly Dyer; sons, Jason DeFriese, Matthew DeFriese, Joshua DeFriese; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; mother, Susie DeFriese; sisters, Leanna Rogers, Dorinda (C.L.) Eldridge, Donna Kirby; brother, Bob DeFriese; many nieces & nephews.

The Reverend Ray Williams will conduct a celebration of life service at One Accord Community Church, 343 Sweetland Drive, Red Bank, on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2 p.m.
