Nora Ruth Rodgers, 84 of Hixson passed away Tuesday, January 30.

She was a member of the Delashmitt Road Baptist Church. She was a loving mother & a dedicated wife.

She was predeceased by her husband, Billy Rodgers, Sr.; parents; four sisters and a brother.

Survivors include her sons, Bobby (Jill) Rodgers, Billy (Regina) Rodgers, Jr., daughter, Janet Baker; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and many nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1 at Delashmitt Road Baptist Church from 2-6p.m and 11-11:30a.m. on Friday February 2. The Rev. Ronnie Smith will conduct the funeral on Friday at 11:30a.m. in the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
