Patricia Patsy Elaine [Ferrell] Brown made her non-stop flight to the Glory World on July 7, 2024 after an extended illness. She was married to Rev. Preston Brown for 54 years. They faithfully served together in ministry in churches in Indiana, Illinois, Louisiana, Kentucky and Tennessee through many years. In addition to her role as a pastors wife, she worked in early childhood education and in long-term healthcare. In 2014, she retired from Life Care of Collegedale in Collegedale, TN as the Marketing/Admissions Director after 10 years of service there.

She was born on January 31, 1951 to James W. and Ruby [Bennett] Ferrell in Manchester, TN. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, David and Tommy and her sister, Lillian.

Survivors include her husband, Preston Brown; sons, Sean Brown of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, Geron (Lydia) Brown of Tullahoma, TN; granddaughter, Cora Brown and grandson; Cohen Brown.

Visitation with the family and friends will be 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 4400 Bonny Oaks Drive, Chattanooga, TN. The Reverend Geron Brown will conduct the celebration of life service in the church at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Calvary Church of the Nazarene or The Alzheimers Association in honor of Patsy.
