Pauline Winnifred Nosworthy Pierson, 82, passed away on December 23, 2016, after a three-year battle with lung cancer.

Pauline was a loving family lady. She is a published author, and served as president of the Southern Adventist University Symphony Guild for six years. She was an insurance agent and worked as administrative assistant in various Chattanooga offices and at Southern Adventist University.

Her favorite pastimes included travel, writing and photography.

She is survived by her husband Don R. Pierson, her son, Dennis Pierson, with his wife Gail; and her daughter, Robbi Pierson Anderson, with her husband, Duane. Pauline was the proud grandmother of Ryan, Elizabeth, Nathan and Matthew. She also had four step grandchildren April, Jason, May and June and three step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 8 at 11:00 am at Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. Family visitation will be the same day from 10:00 to 10:45 am.
