Phillip Henry Hardin Sr. passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015.

He was born March 31, 1939, to the late William H. and Helen Hardin in Hall County, Ga.

He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Linda D. Hardin; sister, Terri Breedlove, and nephew, Scott Breedlove; sons Kenny (Sherry) Norris of Ringgold, John Wesley of Alabama, daughter, Lolita (Allan) Crowder of Kensington, sons Dale (Kim), Gregg (Gay) and Billy (Christy), all of Georgia. Also, three stepchildren, Dannie Bowman and Steve (Tina) Hodge of Rock Spring, Ga., and Kay (Paul) O'Neal of Chattanooga. Grandfather of 26 and several great-grandchildren.

He made a special donation to science, and a Memorial is planned for family and friends on Aug. 1, 2015, at 1 p.m. at his home in Tunnel Hill.
