Richard H. 'Dick' Dahlke, 72, of Harrison, TN, died Monday, October 15, 2018.

Dick was born in Grand Island, NE December 5, 1945.

He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Henry Dahlke, Dagny & Henry Jorgensen and son, Raymond.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Dahlke; sisters, Beverly Reher of California, Esther & Bill Ehrsam of California; brother, Dean & Marcia Dahlke of Nebraska; sons & daughters-in-law, Richard & Laura Dahlke of Chattanooga, Roger & Carrie Dahlke of Chattanooga, Michael Dahlke of Clarksville, David Dahlke of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jessica Lewis, Joshua Lewis, Victoria Drew & Patrick Todaro, Cameron Dahlke, Christian Mahanes, Lily-Claire Mahanes; great-granddaughter Piper Caroline Todaro.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave, safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, WOW what a ride! WOW, What a ride.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 21, at the Brainerd Presbyterian Church from 2p.m.-4p.m. The Reverend Ronald Ragon will conduct the memorial service at 4 p.m. in the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army, PO Box 3359, Chattanooga, TN 37404 Hurricane Relief in memory of Richard Dahlke.
