Obituary

Robert William Clemons Jr, 67, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 after a brief illness at the Chattanooga hospital in Tennessee. He was born in Little Falls NY on August 14,1953. He is the son of the late Edna Barnes Clemons Walts, and Robert William Clemons Sr.

He was predeceased by a step- father Phylo Walts, two sisters, and four brothers. He was also predeceased by his son Robert William Clemons lll.

He later moved to Lafayette Ga where he lived with his Fianc of 20 years (Susan Thompson). He had 2 stepdaughters whom he loved dearly Colette (Paul) Mazzuca, and Tanya Polite (Felix Reyes). He was an avid song writer and wrote several songs in his early days as well as later in life. He also made a record back in the 80s. He had the love for motorcycles which he rode throughout his life, his pride n joy was his 82 Harley.

He is survived by four sisters, Linda Conners of Shelby, NC, Betty(Clemons) Perkett (Paul Hisert) of Fort Plain, NY, Bonnie (Clemons) Bennett,of Mesa AZ, Margaret Clemons, of Fort Plain NY; five brothers William(Judy) o fMohawk NY, George Clemons, of Utica,NY,Tim Clemons of Fort Plain, NY, Mark Clemons, of Fort Plain, NY and Michael Clemons, of Cold Brook, NY. He had eleven grandchildren & six great-grandchildren whom he adored very much.He had an incredibly special bond with his aunt, Marylou Grainer of Little Falls, NY whom he enjoyed chatting with on the computer. He had several nieces,nephews, and cousins, along with many friends of both NY & GA.

He will be cremated, and his ashes will be brought back home to NY. A memorial will be planned later in the spring.
