Robert 'Rob' DeVries, age 69, passed away suddenly at his residence, on Tuesday, March 14th 2017.

Born May 13th, 1948, he was as life long resident of Chattanooga. He worked at Sears Roebuck Company and Sam's automotive until retiring in 2012. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hiking, playing cards, traveling, family dinners, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Rob will be loving remembered by his children, Allison Harr (Jason), Hillary Burks (Chris), and Jonathan DeVries. Rob will also be fondly remembered by his three grandchildren, Kaylee, Malloree, and Lex. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Willa DeVries, a daughter, Millicent DeVries, and his wife Anne DeVries in 2007.

At Rob's request, no services will be held. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 6912 Lystra Rd. Harrison, TN 37341.
