In Loving Memory of Robert Lee Moore, Sr.
January 30, 1954 - October 27, 2026
Robert Lee Moore, Sr., was born on January 30, 1954, in Dixon, Illinois. A devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, ordained preacher, and man of unwavering faith, Robert passed away on October 28, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him dearly and a legacy that will continue through generations.
Throughout his life, Robert was guided by his faith and his relationship with God. As an ordained preacher, he carried his love for the Lord into the lives of those around him. His faith was an important part of who he was, and he will be remembered as a man who sought to live with purpose and devotion.
A skilled rock mason, Robert took pride in his work and the things he built with his hands. Outside of his work, he found joy in fishing and spending time in the mountains, where he could appreciate the beauty and peace of nature.
Above all, Robert cherished his family. He was a father who loved his children and a grandfather and great-grandfather whose family will carry his memory forward. His love extended across generations, and the bonds he shared with his family remain an important part of his legacy.
Robert is survived by his children, Robin Moore, Kathryn, Mary, Brittany, and James, and is preceded in death by his son, Robert Moore, Jr. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Madison, Breniaha, Summer, Jaylen, Erin, Noah, Landon, Khalil, and Avien, as well as his great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Riley, Angel, Evelyn, and Sunny.
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable space in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, the memories he created, the faith he carried, and the love he gave will live on through his family. His life was a testament to the importance of faith, family, and leaving something meaningful behind.
Robert will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by those whose lives he touched.
May he rest in eternal peace, in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served.
