Sandra Kay Burnett, 66, of La Fayette, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 7, 2025. Her biggest passion was her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing games, gardening and cooking. She was predeceased by her parents; children, Autumn Burnett, Jeremy Adam Hicks; sisters, Millie Owens, Debbie Horn, Lisa Owens. Survivors include her son, Shawn Hicks; grandchildren, Kayleigha Billings, Anthony Billings, Chace Hicks, Blake Hicks; sisters, Connie Cordell, Janice Hill; brother, William Owens. Pastor Jeff Evans will conduct a memorial service on Saturday, August 23rd at 10am at Faith Baptist Tabernacle in Athens, TN. .
