Sanford Lee "Butch" Scoggins, Jr. of Chattanooga, Tennessee, departed this life on

July 15, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Scoggins, his parents; Sanford Lee and

Cansadie Scoggins, Sr., sister, Lisa Scoggins and brother, Robert Scoggins.

Butch is survived by sisters; Charlotte Lunsford, Bernice (Rick) Phillips and Patricia

Albritton, brothers; Chris (Deedee) Scoggins, Michael Scoggins and Matthew Scoggins.

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews

Butch enjoyed the outdoors and his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held at Scoggins Cemetery at a later date.
