Skye Drapiza Braden, a beacon of creativity and spirit passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 26. She left this world as she lived in it- with an unwavering energy and loved by all.
Born on February 4, 1999, in Chattanooga where she embraced the city's vibrant culture. The daughter of Nathan Braden and Leani Drapiza, Skye graduated from CSAS and CSTCC and attended UTC as well.
Skye's passions included music production, fashion, and all things motorcycles. She celebrated diversity and demonstrated the resilience of the human spirit.
Her laughter was contagious, she was curious and clever, and her enthusiasm for life unshakable.
Skye is preceded in death by grandparents Ben Drapiza, Donna Kuebler & Jimmy Braden and uncle, Benson Drapiza.
Skye is survived by her parents, sister, Zoë Braden-Garrison (Blake); grandmother, Zoila Drapiza, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and large extended family. She also leaves behind a community forever changed by her radiant soul.
A celebration of Skye's life will be held at Burlaep (801 E 11th St, Chattanooga) on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
Her light will continue to shine in every sunrise, sunset, and through each life she touched.
