Stephen LaRue Marine, 69, of Harrison, TN stepped into Glory to his heavenly home and Jesus on October 28, 2019.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Psalms 116:15.

He is Pastor Emeritus of Mercy Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carole Sue (Lipham) of Harrison and his six children, Stephanie (Jeremiah) Pyles, Amanda (Robert) Crandall, Jessie Susan Marine, Stephen (Christine) Marine, Jr., Rachel (Heath) Smith, Katie Sarah Marine; 19 grandchildren, Emily, Seth, Abigail, Noah, Hannah, Samuel, Daniel, Asher Pyles, Katelynn, Liam, Riley Dugan, Kodie, Zoe Crandall, Waylon, Isabella Marine, Joanna, Elijah, Isiah Smith and Harleigh Marin; brothers, Chris (Diane) Marine and Rodney (Sylvia) Marine.

He began his journey preaching as a teenager. He received a Bachelors Degree in Education and spent 12 years teaching Special Education. He then was called to Pastor and pastored several churches in Sebring, FL. He then spent 3 years raising support and we spent 6 years as missionaries in Guyana, S.A. He also pastored churches in Tennessee and North Carolina before retiring. He ran a hard race, spending many years serving his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He will be lovingly missed by loved ones, friends and family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mercy Baptist Church. The Rev. Greg Banther will conduct the service at 2 p.m, in the church.
