Sue Cox was born on February 12, 1938 to Reginald & Norma Zimmerman DeGeer in Midland, Michigan.

Sue married Charles Cox in Midland on October 30, 1959. Their love story is one that will last for eternity.

Charles, Sue and their children moved to Chamblee, GA in 1970 where they lived for 44 years before retiring to Ooltewah, TN in 2014.

Hers was a life well lived. She loved her family and Jesus Christ, her Lord & Savior. She shared the word of God both at home and abroad through counseling, mentoring and teaching.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Charles; children, Lora (Randy) Kilgore of Ooltewah, TN; Cathy (Clay) Miller of Hixson, TN; Brian (Katie) Cox of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Andrew Cox, Melissa Cox; Wil Cox, Remy (Danielle) Miller, Quinn Miller and brother Dirk D. DeGeer of Midland, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, friends & family members who she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 3 at the Brainerd Hills Church of God from noon- 1 p.m. Dave Carringer will conduct a memorial service at 1 p.m. in the church.
