Susanne Adelheid "Heidi" Nentwig McClure, 54, of Signal Mountain went home to heaven on December 5, 2014 surrounded by loving family and friends. Complications from a sudden heart attack released her from possible future pain and freed her wings for heaven.

Educated in Signal Mountain schools and Red Bank High School; she graduated with honors in accounting at UTC. She became a self employed accountant and provided accurate advice to her loyal clients. Despite inheriting a severe genetic physical disability, Heidi had a rich, blessed life, filled with artistic style, professional achievement, tender hearted friends and a deep faith filled with buoyancy and courage.

Heidi truly loved her family, friends and caregivers. She prayed with them, cried with them and laughed with them. Through her lifetime, Heidi as a spiritual seeker welcomed rich and various Christian religious experiences. Heidi was Baptized at St. Timothys in 1960. She always had time to take your hand and pray for you.

She was predeceased by her father, Klaus Peter Nentwig.

She is survived by her husband, John Robert McClure; mother, June Marion Harkness Nentwig, of Signal Mountain; brother abd sister-in-law, Michael and Dedra Nentwig of Hixson, Tenn; nephews, Andy Nentwig and Ryan (Katie) Kennedy and great niece, Elena Kennedy.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 14 at 1 p.m. in St. Timothys Episcopal Church. The memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to D E B R A (Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Researsh Association of America) and St. Timothys Memorial Fund.
