Sylvia Frazier Champion, 80, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2018. She was born in Obion County, the daughter of the late John and Lucy Berner. She graduated from the University of Miami.

Sylvia worked at Parkridge Valley Hospital for many years, serving the patients and co-workers she dearly loved.

She was predeceased by her late husband, William Champion and her brother, Larry Berner.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Lupita Berner and many nephews and nieces of Union City, TN. She is also survived by her children, Carl J. (Janet) Frazier, Elaine (Dan) Bruin; grandchildren, Chad (Maggie) Frazier, Beth (Ryan) Vanderpool, Melissa Busby; seven great-grandchildren; step-children, Debbie C. Brown, Mark Champion, Lori Champion and their family members. Sylvia will be greatly missed.

She will be laid to rest in her hometown of Union City, TN.
