On Wednesday, December 28, 2022, Terry LeRoy Thrun was welcomed into the arms of Jesus. Terry was born May 23, 1968. He spent four and a half years in the United States Navy. While in the Navy, he was given a Gospel tract and he read it and got saved. Soon afterwards, God called him to be a missionary. December 19, 1992, he married the love of his life, Linda. God blessed them with six children here on earth and one baby in Heaven. Terry and the family spent 1999 to 2017 on the mission fields of Papua, New Guinea and American Samoa. Then for the last three and a half years, Terry pastored Bible Baptist Church in West Point, Mississippi. His greatest joys were his family and bringing others to Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Thrun; six children, Meagan, Amy, Kaitlyn, Caleb, Jared & Hannah Thrun; parents, Jerry & Lavonne Thrun; brother, Jerry Thrun; sisters, Mary (John) Willmus, Carey (Brian) Johnson, and Sherry (Jamey) Westman and many nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4, 2022 at Moriah Baptist Church in Ft Oglethorpe, GA from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday.Pastor Randy Lynn will conduct the service in the church at 11 a.m. Thursday. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
