Velda R. Price, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in Chattanooga, TN. She was born May 6, 1943 to Clarence and Bertha Henderson. Velda was an employee of Baylor School for over 30 years before retiring in 2009. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Henderson; father, Clarence Henderson; sister, Sue Scott; husband, William R. Price and grandson, Wesley A. Nash.

She is survived by daughter, Dianna McCoy (Philip); son, Larry Nash (Valerie); daughter, Amorea Trew (Mark); son, Sean Price (Martha); grandchildren, Zachary Schulz (Stevie), Cullen McCoy (Abby), Gary Nash, Tallon Trew, Amber Gilley (Jake), Esther Trew, four great-grandchildren; brothers, Junior (Wanda Sue) Henderson, Dwight (Sue) Henderson, and Marvin (Norma) Henderson.

She attended River of Life Church in Sevierville, TN and Brainerd Hills Church of God in Chattanooga, TN.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20 from 5-8p.m. and 11-1p.m. on Friday in Brainerd Hills Church of God. The Rev. Victor Alley will conduct the funeral at 1p.m. on Friday in the church. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
