Vernon C. Alferink Jr., 58, of Hiawassee, GA finally got his boat ride. He was born to Vernon & Shirley Alferink on July 3rd 1958 in Ashtabula, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by both his, mother & father.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; two daughters, Chelsea and Jami; three sons, Trever, Charlie, and Claiborne; three sisters, Debra, Sue and Jodi, & one brother, Jerry.

Vernon was a strong willed, hardworking man. He took pride in any & every aspect of his life. He shared many laughs with family & friends. Vernon put up cell phone towers for Dale Shoppe, worked construction with Fine Line Builders & was an all-around handy man.

Funeral Services were held June 18th, 2016 at a family members home, Mathew Mounger.
